Parliament of South Africa:
Parliament of South Africa has outsourced its IT Infrastructure and Support Services since 2004.

Xepa Consulting, as part of a consortium with Datacentrix, provided resources to support the Novell, Linux and Microsoft server environments, as well as the desktop environment as from 2004 to 2008.

Xepa, in partnership with Business Connexion, recently won the new contract to extend the services to 2011.

Breede River Municipality:
XEPA Consulting has been awarded the project by Breede River Municipality to implement a VMWare solution for disaster recovery purposes. The project involves the implementation of an EMC SAN with 2 x VMWare ESX hosts at its production site in Ashton. Phase 2 of the project entails the implementation of a 2nd SAN in Montagu with real time replication of data.

City of Cape Town:
Xepa Consulting has been working with the City of Cape Town since 2000. We worked on a Novell Server Consolidation Project which involved the consolidation of 30 servers in the Civic Centre to 5 servers connected to a fibre-channel SAN with high availability clustering services.

Currently, Xepa has resources based at the City providing support services for the Microsoft environment within the Distributed Computing section.

City of Cape Town:
Xepa Consulting is working with the Vending Department on a server and networking monitoring project. We have provided the AdventNet ManageEngine OpManager, ApManager and Firewall Analyser utilities to monitor the server and network devices, as well as the SQL and MySQL databases.

Stellenbosch Municipality:
Stellenbosch Municipality has recruited Xepa Consulting to provide project management services for its SAN and Server Consolidation Project. The project entails the implementation of a production and disaster recovery SANs and the consolidation of Novell, Linux and Microsoft servers using VMWare Enterprise software.

Xepa also provides hardware and software, as well as Novell support services.

KWV (in partnership with Datacentrix):
Datacentrix utilised the services of Xepa Consulting to upgrade all the KWV Novell NetWare servers to the latest version, as well as upgrade the Novell GroupWise system to GroupWise 7.0 with GroupWise Mobile Server for the synchronisation of mail and calendaring items to mobile smartphones.

Western Cape Education Department (in partnership with Datacentrix):
Datacentrix utilised the services of Xepa Consulting to implement a Novell GroupWise Cluster of 2-nodes connected to a fibre-channel HP EVA SAN for the Western Cape Education Department. This ensured the high availability of the messaging and collaboration systems in case of any hardware failures.

Department of Land Affairs (in partnership with Datacentrix):
Datacentrix utilised the services of Xepa Consulting to implement a Novell Cluster for the Department of Land Affairs for the high availability of their file and print services, messaging and collaboration systems, database applications, and the internet proxy services.

Biotech Fuels:
Biotech Fuels has outsourced its entire IT infrastructure to Xepa Consulting. We provide consulting and support services, and implemented a Microsoft infrastructure solution with Microsoft Exchange.

Tongaat Hulett Starch:
Tongaat has outsourced its desktop and server support services for the Bellville Mill to Xepa Consulting.

Kopano Financial Solutions:
Kopano has outsourced its entire IT infrastructure to Xepa Consulting. We provide consulting and support services, and implemented a Microsoft infrastructure solution with Microsoft Exchange.

Shout It Now:
Shout It Now is a non-profit organisation that aims to eliminate the spread of HIV/AIDS amongst students and teachers with the use of technology.

Shout It Now has entrusted Xepa Consulting as its technology partner.

Ramsay, Son & Parker:
Xepa Consulting migrated the Microsoft Exchange 5.5 environment at RSP to a Novell GroupWise SuSe Linux environment. This entailed the migration of 200 users in Cape Town and Sandton.

Xepa also provides consulting services to the IT Management team to improve service delivery.

Fairfield Tours:
Xepa Consulting has implemented a Novell GroupWise on Linux environment for Fairfield Tours. We currently support the environment and assisting in implementing a VPN solution using the Juniper range of firewall appliances.

MTN Sciencentre:
MTN Sciencentre has outsourced an IT Audit project to Xepa Consulting. This included a full audit on their hardware and software which included asset tagging and inventory reporting. Xepa Consulting currently provides consulting services to MTN Sciencentre.

Terason:
Xepa has implemented a firewall and VPN solution for Terason using the Juniper firewall appliances.

Superbus Services:
 Superbus Services has outsourced its entire IT infrastructure to Xepa Consulting. We provide consulting and support services, and implemented a Microsoft Small Business infrastructure solution.

IMATU:
IMATU has outsourced its entire IT infrastructure to Xepa Consulting. We provide consulting and support services, and implemented a Novell Small Business solution with Novell GroupWise on NetWare.
